Dyson DC20 Stowaway Animal Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner
Rating:
RRP: £299.99
Description: A bagless vacuum cleaner, easy to store and ideal for pet owners.
Features: • Designed to pick up pet hairs • Wraps for ease of storage • Easy to carry • Washable HEPA filter for allergy suffers • British Allergy Foundation approved • Patented cyclone technology • Simple and hygienic to empty
Review: Dyson are not the cheapest option if you are buying a new vacuum cleaner, but it is the excellent quality and durability of products like the DC20 which prove why they are still great value for money. As with all their products, the DC20 is extremely powerful - utilising Dyson' patented cyclone technology - and easy and hygienic to empty without the added complication of expense or changing a dust bag.
The main advantage of this particular model is that it is extra efficient at picking up animal hair. The brush attachment is incredibly easy to dismantle and clean out. The only downside is that because it is so good at picking up dust and pet hair, it does need regular emptying.
Dyson DC22 Allergy Baby Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner
Rating:
RRP: £239.99
Description: This lightweight design is a third smaller than your average cylinder vacuum cleaner, but still has a powerful suction.
Features: • Advanced Dyson cyclone technology • British Allergy Foundation approved • Lifetime HEPA filter • Adjustable wand • On board tool storage • Wraps for ease of storage
Review: One of the advantages of cylinder vacuum cleaners in comparison to upright models is that they are lighter, easy to carry and much better for stowing away in small spaces. The Dyson DC22 excels on all of these points as it is two thirds of the size of a regular vacuum cleaner, yet it doesn't compromise on suction power or effectiveness.
The downside of buying the Baby Dyson is that it, obviously, requires more frequent emptying because of the small size of the product. However, this is not a big problem as the excellent design means it is mess free and fast to do.
Dyson DC25 All Floors Ultra Lightweight Dyson
Rating:
RRP: £279.99
Description: A lighweight (7.2kg) upright vacuum cleaner which utilises Dyson's innovative ball technology.
Features: • Weighs just 7.2kg • Dyson ball to prevent loss of suction • Ultra maneuverable • Telescope reach wand • Washable HEPA filter for allergy suffers • Patented cyclone technology • Simple and hygienic to empty
Review: Upright vacuum cleaners are favoured by many people but often models are heavy and less maneuverable than their cylinder counterparts. The DC25 All Floors Dyson bucks the trend. While heavier than some cylinder cleaners, it still weighs just 7.2kg making it easy to carry. It also uses Dyson's recently developed ball technology, which does make a difference to maneuverability and helps clean right into every nook and cranny.
Dyson DC14 Origin Upright Vacuum Cleaner

Description: This DC14 model is one of the cheapest Dyson vacuum cleaners available, and is ideal for carpetted homes.

Review: The DC14 is not the best Dyson vacuum cleaner available, but when you take into account that this is one of the cheapest models it represents excellent value for money. RRP is just under £200 but it can be purchased much cheaper if you shop around.
It is an excellent all rounder, providing a high level of dirt removal, durability and ease of use. It comes with a crevice, stair and brush tool which all do their jobs perfectly.
